The CTA-1000 series connects
standard telephones and fax machines to IP-based data networks. IP telephony
service providers and enterprises can offer users traditional and enhanced
communication services via the customer's broadband connection to the Internet
or Local Area Network (LAN).
The CTA-1000 series features one or two analog ports for connection to
existing analog phones, fax machines, PBX and key system communication
platforms. The CTA-1000 series includes an Ethernet interface for connection to
a home or office LAN. The CTA-1000 series can be provisioned via software
controlled by the service provider or the end user.
With the CTA-1000 series, individuals and
companies are able to protect and extend their past investments in telephones,
conference speakerphones and fax machines as well as control their migration to
IP with an extremely affordable, incremental investment.
Installed by the end user and remotely provisioned, configured and
maintained by the service provider, each the CTA-1000 series converts voice
traffic into data packets for transmission over an IP network. The CTA-1000
series can be used in consumer and business IP telephony service offerings
including full-featured IP Centrex. The CTA-1000 series delivers clear sounding
voice and reliable fax calling through its implementation of internationally
recognized standards for voice and data networking.

Functions
1、Call Protection
When network offline or power off， (1) or (2) call PSTN automatically and get
a call from PSTN.
2、Out route Selection and Call Functions
(1) can get a call from PSTN or (2).
When (2) can(1)，support functions: Call waiting, Call transfer, 3-way calling,
Do Not Disturb, Call forwarding: Call hold/Retrieve, Busy, No answer,
Unconditional.
(2) or (1) use VoIP or PSTN according as called prefix.
3、Safety Authentication
